Frequently asked questions
Know what is a request, what is confirmed, and what needs review.
These answers describe the intended customer experience. Where protected services or approved policies are not connected yet, the answer says so directly.
Quotes, booking, and the job experience
Open a question to read the answer.
PricingWhat should a quote include?
The customer view should show one total, each included work area, the expected finish, estimated duration, assumptions, exclusions, and quote validity. Internal labor, provider payout, and margin stay private.
PricingWhy might a project need review?
Active leaks, damp material, suspected mold, specialty assemblies, restricted access, conflicting information, and large plan-based work need a human or specialist review before a fixed price is offered.
SchedulingIs my requested date confirmed?
Not immediately. Your booking request includes preferred dates and flexibility. The appointment becomes confirmed after provider assignment and schedule confirmation.
PaymentWhen is my card charged?
The planned flow saves a payment method at booking without charging it. Authorization happens after onsite scope confirmation, and capture follows completion approval or the stated review window.
ProvidersWhen will I see provider details?
Provider information and the exact appointment appear after a legitimate assignment is confirmed. Exact customer details are not shared with unassigned providers.
PreparationHow should I prepare the work area?
Plan for safe access, reasonable furniture clearance, pets secured away from the work zone, and any known parking or entry constraints. Job-specific instructions arrive after booking.
BookingDo I need an account?
No. Guest quoting, booking, and job-specific secure actions are the primary path. An account is optional for repeat customers, multiple properties, and easier document history.
Safety and policiesWhat happens if there is an active leak or suspected hazardous material?
Automatic quoting should stop when the site may still be wet, unsafe, or require a regulated specialist. Correct the source of an active leak and use an appropriate qualified service before drywall work continues. The drywall path can resume only after readiness is reviewed.
Safety and policiesDoes a quote mean my appointment is confirmed?
No. A quote result, a booking request, and a confirmed appointment are separate steps. Requested dates remain preferences until a provider is validly assigned and the schedule is confirmed.
Safety and policiesWhere will cancellation or warranty details appear?
Approved cancellation, review-window, issue-reporting, and any applicable warranty language should be shown with the specific booking and final job record. This first-pass preview does not publish or replace those policies.
